Rawan Beckdash is an Elementary School counselor. She has more than 10 years of experience as an educator with a degree in Education, a Teaching Diploma and Masters degree in Applied Psychology. She addresses 3 main domains of counseling: Academic Development, Social/Emotional Development and Career Development. She is a strong advocate of equity and wellbeing of students and staff.
Rawan always seeks to build and repair relationships on individual and community levels. She’s currently focusing on restorative practices. She has initiated staff wellbeing events, led assembly talks, and presented wellbeing sessions for parents. She presented “Learning in the 21st Century” at PEAK conference in Kuwait where all schools come together for one drive which is providing the best education for their future generations.
“Don’t limit your challenges. Challenge your limits”; a motto that Rawan has followed for many years and endorsed her towards challenging the challenges to develop into the person that she is.
